Dahlia on Ross describes themselves as Southern European Inspired Cuisine w/ Botanical Cocktail Garden & Bohemian Eclectic Design. And honestly I think this description nailed it. They serve Lunch and Dinner, as well as Brunch on the weekends.
I had the opportunity to dine with them for Brunch last week with one of my homegirls and let me tell you their courtyard gave me all the Sex and They City vibes! I would highly recommend this location for a girl’s night or even a date night with your boo.
Since we went for brunch we had to try the waffle board (pictured below). It is set as a serving for two but you can easily serve more if you add some side items as well. This board consisted of your choice of bacon or sausage (you can also get a combo of both), Nutella + maple syrup, strawberries, bananas, chocolate chips, whipped cream, and butter.
What I enjoyed about this dish:
- The thick cut bacon was well cooked and crispy, which is my favorite way to eat bacon.
- The waffles were thin and crispy! That way you eat several without getting too full.
- There was Nutella… enough said lol!
- Getting fresh fruit makes it healthy right?!?!
Since we were sharing the board we added a side of potatoes. They were roasted tri-color potatoes . I was impressed with the level of seasoning and how well they were prepared.
As you can see from the picture I had to a mimosa. They offer a variety of juice options so you don’t have to stick to the traditional orange juice. Now while we are on the subject of cocktails, lets get into these French press craft cocktails!
Kettle One Vodka created these cute French presses specially for their drinks! These serve roughly 4 servings each and are priced at $38 which is a steal in my opinion. We tasted the Peach Orange Blossom one which was super refreshing with a citrus taste. They have a total of threes different options, so definitely start you meal with one!
