Spring Break in Grand Prairie

So with Spring Break kicking off for most of Texas this week; I was excited to spend some time exploring places in my own back yard that I’ve never been before.

Tourist Information Center

My first stop was to the Tourist Information Center, where they all the information you need to plan an outing in the city. It is located at Lone Star Park at I-30 and Beltline. They will hook you up with coupons and tips, not just for Grand Prairie venues but for destinations around North Texas. They also have a super cute gift shop and Insta-worth scenes outside.

Epic Waters

Next up on my list was Epic Waters indoor water park. And yes it was just as great as it sounds! Epic Waters is a 80,000 square-foot indoor/outdoor waterpark, that’s open rain or shine which makes it perfect to visit any day. The park features several water slides, an interactive children’s area, an outdoor wave pool, full-service bar, and an arcade.

The best part about the water park is that the food and beverage prices are extremely reasonable. Food prices range from about $5 to $18 for a whole pizza. The adult beverages were also real cheap all priced under $10. They even have mimosas’s on the weekend.

The water park is now open from 8am-9pm. The park is only allowing 75% capacity so making advance reservations is highly suggested. They have several ticketing options including day passes and season passes. They even offer special after dark discounted pricing.

Main Event

Located conveniently across the street from Epic Waters is Marin Event. So trade your swim suit in for some comfy clothes and head in for more fun times. This Main Event has several experiences including bowling, laser tag, rock climbing, and karaoke.

Take the family out for bowling and laser tag for this week. Explore it all with all you can play activities for $14.99 before noon or $19.99 after noon.

I hope you guys are able to enjoy some fun activities with the family for spring break and into this summer. Take some time to explore all the great places the DFW Metroplex has to offer. After all, we all deserve to have a little fun after the year we’ve all had.
